Manna Dey – Tu Pyar Ka Sagar Hai – Seema [1955] – what a beautiful song and a wonderful movie! Mom loved this.
Happy Valentine’s Day – although, for those who love, every day is Valentine’s Day. I have fond memories of my colleagues at work sending greeting cards with cute messages. I even phoned Ranjit today. Different shades of love.
I am blessed.

i love this song!my father used to sing these songs when he is in a good mood-jalthe he jiskeliye …,jaye tho jaye kahan..,toote hue khabone..etc:)
We’re huge fans of old songs. Every song has a personal story for us! Feels so lovely, no?
vidya, sometimes i feel so sad seeing the romantic eyes of Dileep kumar,Manoj kumar etc, thinking why i dont see that kind of romance outside? It looks so pure.I love those guys:)
i often feel that it is because, decades ago – life was simpler in many ways, and stories were also simpler. technology has its woes, you know – and with that comes the complications. perhaps that’s why we enjoy seeing old films, even if some people might laugh at us 😀
