The dental work is over, at least for the next three months, when the dentist has advised me to visit for a check up. 😀 These are busy days. I am harnessing my restlessness to do something productive. Who knows, maybe I AM getting older. Not in the head though. But who can argue with the things we cannot change?
Am still working on my deadline of “giving away” and there’s progress to report. Why, even the garage is half-empty – and this is that situation where the “empty” is optimistic! There’s hope yet.
In the meantime, Vidur has been busy doing philanthropic stuff, collecting money for the visually challenged. And nice people like Asheesh have made Big contributions. Thank you, Asheesh. There’s something very joyful about watching a child collect small amounts and count them – and the competition among peers is such fun. “his collection is ‘x’ more than mine” and so on.
Right now, I am working on my (lots) To-Do List – and I really have miles to go before I sleep.
This time, last year, the mood was so upbeat at home – because we were approaching the possible end of Mom’s bed-rest, which cured her spinal TB. Little did we know that in less than two months she’d be gone. Sigh.
Ok – that just took me to the photo album for a quick emotional makeover – and I remembered how we all had a fantastic time watching Vidur do this in candlelight, no less, as there was a power cut and he had to complete it and take it to school the next morning. Sri Krishna Leela. Those were wonderful times!
